June 26, driving the Irish Loop

Notice the wind generators.

The St. Peter's River snakes around.

Entering the Barron country.

Skid marks.

Clothes drying in the wind. A common scene through Labrador Newfoundland.

I think I'm trying to get the moss growing in the trees in this area.  Or it's lichen.

Notice the potholes.  With fewer than 500,00 residence in the whole providence it is difficult to have enough money to maintain the infrastructure.

Had to keep driving today until we found a campground. We found out the the campground burnt and was for sale.  Luckily the owner of the Bird Island Resort noticed we were looking for a place to hook up. He offered us a spot on his property.  Newfoundlanders are so very nice.

Our home for the night. We bought beer from his convenience store to compensate him for his kindness.

Swinging John.

Golf anyone?
I SAW SEALS PLAYING IN THE WATER.
