June 25,2015. More of St. John's, NL

Drove to Cape Spear Lighthouse Historical Site.  Window shopped downtown St. John's. Rosie tried on some dresses but weren't quite right for the money. Tried on some unique expensive shoes. Thought about buying them but didn't.  Parked by the Harbour and drank beer in the van waiting for the Charlie Pride Concert at the Mile One Event center.  ( hockey arena)

Looking to Signal Hill and the Harbor entrance from the north harbor walk.

Marajana isn't legalized in Newfoundland but it isn't policed.  They are more concerned with the heroin and ecstasy  that is prevalent since the oil business which started about 10 years ago. You can possess  28 ounces and grow 6 plants with no trouble.

Stopped in this music store and had a great experience. Bought 2 CDs. One of the Navigatore who played at the Shamrock City Pub the night before.  We left before they performed.

The family has owned this building since 1939 when Dave's grandma opened it.  This chap took the business over from his dad who was visiting with us.

St. John's was voted the art capital of Canada in 2009.
